We arrived yesterday about 3:45 PM.
This girl of ours is a champ. Other than about an hour on the flight from Seoul to San Francisco she did great. The hour that was not so great, she was very tired and frustrated. I think she was over tired and could not get to sleep. She was fine and playful before that and then after she fell asleep she slept up until about an hour before landing.
You can tell that she is still not sure of us. She likes to be held front facing out so that she does not have to look at us. We have managed to hold her facing towards us a few times and she will look at us but not for long and if we look back and make eye contact then she will cry a little.
After she fell asleep on the flight from Seoul to San Francisco I turned her to face me. It was so sweet she would rub my arm in her sleep. She also is a fretful sleeper which her foster mother did tell us. You have to constantly rub her or pat her to keep her asleep unless she is very, very tired. So for about 9 hours on the flight I had to rub her belly, then her neck constantly. It keep her asleep though so it was fine. I would rather be tired and have her get good sleep so that she does not wake up cranky.
So far when waking up she wakes up cheerful and ready to play. She will clap and wave. We have only heard sounds from her on the first morning after getting her.
She is sleeping right now so I am going to post a few pictures and then go clean up some of the mess we came home with.
What a joy to see all of your pictures. Now your little family can start it's journey together. I am glad you are all home safe. Lynda
